Welcome....to the Parish House Inn, for 20 years an Ann Arbor, Michigan area bed and breakfast. Located 20 minutes from Ann Arbor in historic Ypsilanti, Michigan, this Queen Anne style house began its life as a parsonage in 1893 and was moved to the current location overlooking the Huron River in 1987. When you step inside you are greeted by gleaming hardwood floors, graceful tulip light fixtures, ceiling fans, and the aroma of our freshly baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

The entrance to the Parish House Inn is in the back of the house with a view of the Huron River and  where there is a large parking area for guests. The seven  B&B guestrooms feature  period antiques and comfortable king, queen, or twin size beds featuring cozy quilts. With the addition of an extra bed in room 4 and a pull out sofa bed in room 9, these rooms become "family friendly" ,for parents of EMU students, traveling with  siblings, as well as for people traveling together who do not want to share a bed. We have now changed room  3 to two twin beds, which make ideal for people traveling together who do not wish to share a bed, and it can be converted to king size for couples

Each room has a private bathroom featuring spa quality soap and shampoo, plus robes, tubs and/or showers, and even a  tub for two in Room 9! All of our rooms have alarm clocks, telephones, VCR/DVD players, CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING, and heating. Available anytime to all of our guests is the  "bottomless" cookie jar, popcorn, tea and coffee in the Breakfast Room.

Access to high speed, wireless Internet is free for guest use and a necessity for our business travelers.

In the morning the aroma of the freshly ground, brewed coffee will gently awaken your senses in anticipation of a hearty breakfast prepared especially for you by our Chef and Innkeeper, Chris Mason. Chris' amazing recipes have been published and her "Best of Breakfast" cookbook is available for purchase at the inn. Be sure to take a copy home so you can relive the tastes of your Michigan vacation again and again!
